Frankfurt Oyster Mushroom Soup
Meat:
200 g frankfurter sausages
Mushrooms:
250 g of oyster mushrooms, cut into slices
Vegetables:
4 potatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 large onion
1 carrot
1 parsnip
Spices:
1 tbsp. sweet paprika
1 tsp. cumin
1 tbsp. marjoram
Liquids:
Lard or oil
1.5 l vegetable broth
The others:
2 tbsp. flour
Salt
Pepper
Heat oil or fry bacon in a pot, add pieces of onion together with cut frankfurter sausages, sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
Add grated carrot and parsnip, stew for about 7 minutes.
Add oyster mushrooms, minced garlic, sweet pepper and flour. Mix well.
Pour vegetable broth and wait until it starts to boil. Add potato cubes, cumin, marjoram, as well as salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the potatoes are soft.
Enjoy soup with fresh bread.
