Crispy oyster mushroom baguettes

Mushrooms:

  • 500 g of oyster mushrooms

Vegetables:

  • 1 large onion

Liquids:

  • 1 tbsp. oil

Additionally:

  • 100 g of processed cheese

  • 100 g of harder cheese

  • 2 baguettes

  • Cinnamon

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  1. Boil sliced oyster mushrooms in a pot of water with a pinch of salt for about 5 minutes.

  2. Dry the mushrooms and let them cool, then grind them in a meat grinder.

  3. Sauté onion in a pan until it becomes transparent, add ground oyster mushrooms, salt, pepper, cumin to taste. When most of the liquid has evaporated, stir in the melted cheese and mix well.

  4. Heat the oven to 200°C, cut the baguettes in half and place them spaced apart on a baking tray. Spread the mushroom mass on the bread and cover with grated cheese. Bake in the oven for about 3 minutes until the cheese starts to melt and the baguettes turn lightly brown.
