Tom Yum Soup

Mushrooms:

  • 250 g of oyster mushrooms

Seafood:

  • 150 g of shrimp

Vegetables:

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 1/2 onion

  • 2 tomatoes (diced)

  • 1 handful chopped coriander/parsley

  • 2 small pieces of ginger

  • 4 chili peppers

Fruits:

  • 1 lime

Liquids:

  • 250 ml of coconut milk

  • 4 tbsp. fish sauce (fisk sas)

  • 1 l of water

The others:

  • 2 tbsp. Tom-Yum pastes

  • 6 tsp. lemon peels

  • 1 stalk of lemongrass, roughly chopped

  • 1 tbsp. sugar (coconut)

  1. Pour water into the pot, add lemon peel, lemongrass, ginger, whole cloves of garlic and chili cut into slices. Boil for about 5 min.

  2. Add Tom-Yum paste and milk (coconut). Boil for 5 min.

  3. Add shrimp, oyster mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, fish oil and sugar. Cook with the lid on for about 10 min.

  4. In the last few minutes, while the soup is still simmering, add coriander/parsley and lime juice.

  5. Serve hot!
